Have you noticed the difference between the flooding in Iowa and Hurricane Katrina?

Seems both the public and the media are responding more pro-actively. Even though there was less time to react, the people affected are responding well.

There does not seem to be the media hysteria and media induced hysteria in this on-going situation.

Glad to see people can learn from history. Or am I speaking too soon?
